My name is Jake Burghart, and these are some notes on my new TV show, School of Surf, which started airing in December of 2009 on Mtv2. It's about two high school surf teams, one is from New Jersey, and the other lives in Malibu. The show is shot as a documentary, not reality TV. We follows the kids through a school year comparing and contrasting their lives, leading up to an end of the year showdown. East vs West

Happy Christmas!

In the last episode The Jersey boys celebrated there Red Bull Rider’s Cup victory with a night out on the town. While in Malibu we went home with the Lawsons for dinner, and had a work out with Chandler and her pops. This time on School of Surf we go even further into the day to day lives of everyone. Out west we meet Malibu’s super star Conrad Carr and learn how independent studies gives him all the time in the world to surf. Back east the kids are going to work, Chris Kelly at a Chinese restaurant, and Santi in the surf shop. Oh yeah! we finish it all off with a backyard BBQ for Colton’s sweet 16.

So if your like me and don’t have a TV, here you go, welcome to the future, TV on the internet.
