This is a little deleted scene or whatever from Episode 3. Colton skipped class the morning of his birthday to go surfing. We just happened to run into him. I was already out in the water and Matt was on the beach shooting some B-roll, and getting a feel for our new tri-pod. So, Colton and I catch a few waves and on his way in he’s accosted by Chad Marshall and friends. They’re all sitting on the beach drinking beers (at 10:00 am on a weekday).

If you’re not familiar with Chad, check him out here, and here, and here too. He’s a really rad dude, and a real shit stirrer. He’s one of my all time favorite people. I’ve never met anyone who does, but I’m told lots of people really hate him. I don’t think they’re real people though, just weird internet people that hate everyone having a good time. Colton seems to want to embrace the fun, that is Chad and his brother Trace, but is still having a hard time getting the joke of their perpetual faggyness.
